Mosquito Control Advice


Mosquitoes lay eggs in stagnant water, so be sure to adhere to the following advice to help control the mosquito population in your neighborhood:
  1. Keep door and window screens in good repair.
     
  2. Consider the use of a repellent product such as OFF or Cutter’s. Read label carefully and use as directed. Consult a pediatrician for use on children.
     
  3. Empty standing water containers in your yard.
     
  4. Dispose of cans and other debris that may catch water.
     
  5. Clean clogged roof gutters.
     
  6. Turn over plastic wading pools when not in use.
     
  7. Store wheelbarrows indoors.
     
  8. Keep swimming pools clean and chlorinated season long.
     
  9. Eliminate standing water where possible.
     
  10. Use sprays and foggers with care and according to manufacturer’s instructions.
