Youth Adventures After-School Program

For Middle School Youth

Youth Adventures is a great place for middle school youth to spend their after school hours while enjoying activities in a safe and well-supervised environment.

Each afternoon features an activity class, homework help, a snack, and time to socialize with friends. Activity classes are organized in six-week cycles by the day of the week so youth may register by the class or by the whole program. There are no classes on school holidays, snow days, or early dismissal days.

Hours: Monday through Friday; 3:00PM – 5:30PM

Location: L. P. Wilson Center; 599 Matianuck Ave.; Windsor

Transportation: Provided by town van from Sage Park Middle School to L. P. Wilson Center. Parents must pick up their children from L. P. Wilson Center at 5:30PM. Youth meet the Town of Windsor van directly in front of Sage Park Middle School at school dismissal.

Activity Classes:

Mondays: Mousing Around with Computers.

Tuesdays: Awesome Art Adventures

Wednesdays: Gym Games

Thursdays: Community Leadership Club

Fridays: Adventure Challenge

Cost: $10 per six-week session for each activity class. Therefore, to register for the entire week, the fee would be $50 for six-weeks.

Register: Click here for on-line registration. When you arrive at the Town of Windsor On-line Registration page, scroll under "Category" for Youth Services Bureau to get directly to program registration pages. You must register by the Activity class name.
