The Windsor Youth Services Bureau, located at the L. P. Wilson Center, is part of a statewide network of municipally operated bureaus, established by Connecticut state statute, dedicated to enhancing youth development, enriching families and promoting healthy communities.

The Windsor Youth Services Bureau offers After-School Programs, School Vacation Programs, Summer Camp, and Leadership Opportunities for Middle School and High School youth. Our mission is to inspire, encourage and motivate the youth of Windsor to strive for excellence, integrity and community spirit. All programs focus on teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving skills as well as providing an environment for the positive use of leisure time. Youth within the Youth Services Bureau also help develop Community Events and organize the Club Café for middle school youth.

Additionally, part of the Youth Services Bureau’s mission is to track national, regional and community trends that impact families and to ensure that services and opportunities for youth in Windsor are readily available. It serves in this capacity through research, partnerships with community organizations, and involvement in community events. Windsor’s Youth Services Bureau is an active member of the Connecticut Youth Services Association.
