The Windsor Youth Services Bureau,
located at the L. P. Wilson Center, is part of a
statewide network of municipally operated bureaus,
established by Connecticut state statute, dedicated to
enhancing youth development, enriching families and
promoting healthy communities.
The Windsor Youth Services Bureau offers
After-School
Programs,
School
Vacation Programs,
Summer Camp,
and
Leadership Opportunities
for Middle School and High School youth. Our mission is
to inspire, encourage and motivate the youth of Windsor
to strive for excellence, integrity and community
spirit. All programs focus on teamwork, decision-making,
and problem-solving skills as well as providing an
environment for the positive use of leisure time. Youth
within the Youth Services Bureau also help develop
Community
Events
and organize the
Club Café
for middle school youth.
Additionally, part of the Youth Services Bureau’s
mission is to track national, regional and community
trends that impact families and to ensure that services
and opportunities for youth in Windsor are readily
available. It serves in this capacity through research,
partnerships with community organizations, and
involvement in community events. Windsor’s Youth
Services Bureau is an active member of the
Connecticut Youth
Services Association.
