Super Summer Adventures
For Middle School and High School Youth
This program for young people
entering grade 6 through grade 11 takes place in four
sessions, each with a different theme. There are day
camp adventures every week; three sessions also have
optional overnight travel adventures. You may register
by the week for the day camp. If you register for the
overnight travel adventures, you must register for both
weeks of that session.
Each
session has specialty activity classes in Art,
Computers, Active Games, Tennis, Cooking, and
Fishing. Youth are divided into small groups by
age/grade level. Swimming is offered on most days at
Goslee pool. On two days each week, the entire camp goes
on field trips. All youth are invited to make a
scrapbook of their experience; all supplies are
provided.

25 through August 17
Cost:
$110 per week for day camp ($120 non-residents);
$220 for overnight camps ($240 non-residents).

Overnight
accommodations are at the American Youth Hostel in
Eastham, MA in cabins separated by gender. Eastham
Hostel consists of a group of cozy cabins and a
Dining Hall/Recreation Center on a wooded site
close to all the mid cape beaches. Breakfasts and
Dinners will be included; youth must purchase their
own lunches while at sightseeing sights during the
day. Sightseeing will include the Salt Pond Center,
Welfleet Wildlife Sanctuary, Provincetown, and, of
course, the National Seashore. There will be planty
of beach so bring sun screen! In order to register
for this adventure, one must also register for week
one of Enviro-Expeditions.
SESSION 3: TIME TRAVEL
Explore an exciting
travel through time in this session that has a history
theme.

Overnight
accommodations are at the Friendly Crossways Youth
Hostel in Littleton, MA. It is a farm house located
in the country, about 25 miles west of Boston. You
stay in dorm rooms that are separated by gender –
some rooms have bunk beds. This hostel has a dining
hall, lounge area, recreation room, an outdoor
porch, and beautiful outdoor lawns Breakfasts and
dinners are included; youth must purchase their own
lunch at site that we visit during the day. We shall
visit the Lexington Museum, Boston Museum of
Science, USS Constitution, Quincy Market, and Boston
Harbor. Swimming will be at Walden Pond State
Park. In order to register for this overnight
adventure, you must also attend week one of Time
Travel.
SESSION 4: OCEAN OBSERVATIONS
Learn about the
mysteries of the deep! This session's crafts, games and
activities will be related to the beach, ocean life and
lots of wet fun.
