| The Caring
Connection is a municipally-operated
non-profit Adult Day Health Center that is located at
330 Windsor Avenue which was established
in 1987 out of a growing local need. We are here to
provide care for frail or disabled adults, to give peace
of mind and respite care to families and caregivers. The
center is certified by the Connecticut Association of
Adult Day Centers as a Medical Model.
The Caring Connection Adult Day Health Center can
improve the quality of life for any adult who
experiences any of these problems:
- Feels lonely or is socially isolated
- Is depressed
- Has recent weight loss
- Neglects grooming
- Is chronically ill
- Has difficulty preparing meals
- Needs daytime supervision
- Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia
- Vision and Hearing impairments
- Neurological disorders
- Disabled resulting from an accident.
- Incontinence care
- Rehabilitation
Professionally Trained Staff
The Caring Connection staff includes a full-time
Coordinator, Registered Nurse, Liscensed Practical Nurse, Therapeutic Art, Music
& Recreation Director, Program Assistants, Certified
Nurses Assistants, and Drivers. All staff are
professionally trained in caring for the population that
we serve.
