The Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission (IWWC) is an appointed commission charged with the protection of wetlands and watercourses in Windsor.  It was established pursuant to the authority granted in Section 22a-42 of the Connecticut General Statutes.  The IWWC is supported by the Planning Department and the Staff Development Team, a multi-disciplinary team of Town officials charged with comprehensively reviewing development proposals and applications pending before the Town's land use commissions.

Through its Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations, the IWWC regulates all activity in close proximity to, or otherwise impacting, wetlands and watercourses.  Additional information about the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission can be found here.
