Elm Street Reconstruction

Location: Elm Street

The existing pavement displays many signs of physical distress caused by traffic, utility work, the environment, and natural aging. There are also drainage problems, and citizen concerns associated with the condition of the sidewalks. To preserve the aesthetics in this neighborhood, improve rideability and storm water control, this reconstruction is necessary. This improvement will also result in a savings on maintenance and related repair costs. This proposal for a full depth reconstruction would correct all deficiencies within the Town's right-of-way; drainage problems would be corrected, sidewalks and pavement reconstructed.
