As part of the infrastructure to support the locating of the Walgreen’s 700,000 square foot distribution center to Windsor, in the vicinity of International Drive and Rainbow Road, Walgreen’s is responsible to fund the extension of the International Drive boulevard, from the intersection of Rainbow Road and International Drive, south and west to the East Granby Town Line. When completed, the roadway will be 4 lanes with lighting, curbing, drainage, and a new traffic signal installed at the intersection of Rainbow Road and International Drive.

Note: A portion of Rainbow Road has been renamed International Drive. New International Drive will be a 4 lane roadway extending from the East Granby Town line at Seymour Road to Route 20.
