Intersection Improvements

In support of the relocation of ING to Windsor, the State Traffic Commission is requiring ING to improve various intersections that are impacted by the increase in traffic. The Town has taken the responsibility to acquire and/or release parcels to support the infrastructure improvements at these intersections. The following intersections will be improved:

  • Northfield Drive at Day Hill Road
  • Marshall Phelps Road at Day Hill Road
  • Marshall Phelps Road at Route 75
  • Day Hill Road at Route 75
  • Day Hill Road at Blue Hills Avenue, Route 187
Start Date : April 2007
Completion Date : November 2007
Cost : The Town has funded $750,000 for these improvements. ING is responsible for funding the remaining amounts.
Comments :

The Town contracted for the work at Day Hill Road intersecting both Northfield Drive and Marshall Phelps Roadwith Simscroft-Echo Farms, Inc.

ING will contract for the remaining intersection work.
