Romp-N-Learn

August 28, 2007 kicked off our Romp and Learn program. The Romp & Learn After School program provide exciting supervised after school programming for children in grades 1 -5 . Activities include games, sports, creative arts & crafts, study time and lots of fun. Held at the community center at 330 Windsor Ave. Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 6:00pm. For more information call the recreation office at 285-1990 or click the forms link and complete a Romp-n-Learn packet. |
Adult Sports and Fitness Programs

Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services offers great fitness programs for all ages and fitness interest. For those who want to show their sporting talents, Adult basketball and Volleyball, as well as Adult Golf Lessons are offered. If you are interested in exercise classes try joining one of our Tai Chi, yoga, Cardio Blast, Cardio Kickboxing, Water Fitness, or Core Power classes. If you are ready to find your groove come show your dance moves with: Adult Dance & Exercise, or our newest class CardioLatina. |
Windsorland

Enjoy the exciting Windsorland Playroom at 330 Windsor Avenue, Community Center. Perfect for children ages 2-10 to have a birthday party!! For small program fee families can bring their party of children to enjoy the playscape and rock climbing wall and gymnasium. Various party packages are available. For more information, please call the recreation office at 285-1990 or complete the Windsorland Rental Form found in the Form section of the webpage. |
Northwest Park Fall Highlights

Northwest Parks presents a collection of GREAT fall programs and activities. Campout Under the Stars, Fall Mushroom Hunt, Fall Nature Walk, Creatures of the night, and feeding Winter Birds and Decorate a Tree for Wildlife are a few. Special Needs Program Hits New Heights

Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services now offers 2 new exciting programs. Teen-O-Rama a spectacular traveling social group designed especially for teens ages 12-17 with developmental/cognitive disabilities. The group will travel each week to a regional attraction of interest. The department will also offer a Splish Splash swimming program exclusively for ages 6-21 with developmental /and or cognitive impairments. The emphasis is on development of swimming skills, and increasing range of motion through a total body workout on an individual basis, with a 1:1 teacher to student ratio. |
