Medievel Times Trip

Join Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services on Saturday, March 22, 2008 for a trip to Medieval Times in Lyndhurst NJ, and leisure time in New York City. Spend the afternoon shopping or having leisure time in New York City then take a trip down to New Jersey for dinner and a show in a medieval 11th Century setting. Help cheer on as you watch your knight battle for the jousting championship. Trip will include bus trip to New Jersey with approximately 3 hours leisure time in New York City, dinner and a show along with a lifetime memory. Dinner includes garlic bread, vegetable soup, roasted chicken, spare ribs, potatoes, and pastries. The bus will be leaving Windsor’s L.P. Cartio Latina

Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services is getting ready for another exciting session of Cardio Latina. Cardio Latina is an integration of Latin dances combining both ballroom and nightclub styles to create a dynamic, fun and effective fitness system. The routines feature Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Cha-Cha, Bachata, and Samba, all condensed in a one hour non-stop aerobic format. February Vacation School's Out Special

Parents!!! Have to work during February Vacation? Have NO worries. Bring your child(ren) to the Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services, Schools Out Special program. Children in grades 1-5 are all welcome. Let the children enjoy a day full of fun activities, sports, arts and crafts and snacks. Program will run from Tuesday February 19, 2008 through Friday February 22, 2008, from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the 330 Windsor Ave. Community Center. The fee is $20.00 per day. After School Pottery

Taking the Lead

Taking the Lead is a teen community leadership project for ages 14-16. Allowing the participants the chance to show off their different leadership skills. While learning how to best use their skills. They will also be involved in group community projects. Classes begin on Tuesday january 22 and run every Tuesday and Thursday through february 28 at the windsor ave. community center.

Middle School Extravaganza

Friday Nights will never be the same again!!! Windsor Recreation’s Middle School Extravaganza is THE event of the month. On Friday, January 11th come down to the Athletic Club of Windsor, located at 109 Pierson Lane (right outside of the center of Town) from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. The Extravaganza will feature a DJ playing all of your requests, dancing, basketball, dodge ball, floor hockey, volley ball, flag football, pool table, a big screen TV, a lounge, pizza, soda, snacks, and much more. This event is for middle school students residing in Windsor only. Admission is $10 in advance or $15 at the door all inclusive.
