Town Hall Memorial Ceremony to Include Special Tribute

Each year Windsor Memorial Day parade goers are treated to the sights and sounds of the award-winning Windsor Fife & Drum Corps. Traditionally, the corps marches to town hall and then scurry to their bus to insure they arrive at their next appearance in a timely fashion.

The Windsor Holiday Observance Committee is pleased to announce that this year the Windsor Fife & Drum Corps will remain at the Windsor Town green to perform a special musical selection dedicated to their co-founder and leader, Fran Dillon, who tragically lost his life this past February.

Fran Dillon was a friend and dedicated participant, together with the fife and drum corps, in Windsor Memorial Day observances for more than 25 years. On Monday, May 28, 2012 at the 10:00 AM Memorial Day ceremony the Windsor Fife & Drum Corps will perform a special musical selection in his honor.
