AT RISK REGISTRY
The Town of Windsor has created a voluntary At Risk Registry to identify Windsor residents who might need extra assistance during an emergency.

The holidays are near and it is time to think about holiday gifts for your children. We recognize that times are touch and we are here to offer some assistance to you through the Project Santa program. This program is available to Windsor families which children 15 and younger. Call Social Services at 860-285-1839 for registration information as well as income and eligibility guidelines.
This program is a community program sponsored by the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Social Services, Windsor Food and Fuel Bank, Grance Church, Volunteer Ambulance, Police & Health Departments, First Town Downtown and Bill Selig Jewelers.
CASEWORKER AT THE LIBRARY - Maggie Goodman, one of our caseworkers, will be available every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on the lower level of the Windsor Public Library main branch. Maggie will be happy to answer questions and provide resource information to people in need of assistance.
Diabetic Support Group. This group will meet on December 19th at 11:00 AM at the LP Wilson Community Center.
2017-2018 Weekend Wheels Backpack Program
Social Services will be taking applications for the 2017-2018 Weekend Wheels backpack program throughout the summer. This is a supplemental weekend food program that provides a backpack on wheels to elementary age children to bring home on Fridays filled with food and snack items.
