Who we are

Windsor Social Services is staffed with a team of professionally trained caseworkers and support staff who are available to work with you and your family in determining your particular needs and the services and programs that are available to you.

Social Services provides :







  • case management
  • eligibility screening for financial assistance programs
  • assessments for home care services
  • assistance in understanding insurance options
  • information and referral services
  • support groups
  • and educational opportunities to Windsor residents

 

Social Services also administers the Windsor Food Bank, the Windsor Fuel Bank, and Holiday Programs. Windsor Social Services coordinates a wide variety of volunteer opportunities and many of our programs are supported by Windsor C.A.R.E.S. and Windsor Food and Fuel Bank.

SPECIAL EVENTS 

 

FOOD BANK HOURS ARE CHANGING:  The Windsor Food Bank hours effective January 1st, 2016 will be as follows:

 

Mondays:  9:00 - 11:00 am

Tuesdays:  9:00- 11:00 am

Wednesdays:  1:00 - 3:00 pm

Thursdays:  1:00- 3:00 pm and 5:00 - 6:45 pm

 

PLEASE NOTE that the Windsor Social Services and Windsor Food Bank will be CLOSED on Monday, February 15th in observance of President's Day.

 

SPANISH Diabetic Support Group - This newly formed group will be held on the second Monday of each month at 2:15 pm at the L.P. Wilson Community.  Click Here to view event flier.
