Live Fire Training

Part of our annual compliance is coming up soon. We will be focusing on truck work and hoseline deployment. New pump operators should be given time to work while monitored and new members will get an opportunity to use the skills learned in Firefighter I & II.

Basic and Advanced Extrication

To address both changes in vehicle technology and WVFD's increased responses that require rescue and extrication we will be drilling on stabilizing and different extrication techniques. These will be done in concert with patient care and safe removal from the passenger compartment. Some time will be spent covering electric vehicles.
