Addendum #1 Issued July 5, 2017 


Sealed bids for “KENNEDY ROAD REHABILITATION, NORTHBOUND LANES (State Project L164-003), WINDSOR, CT” will be received until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in the Finance Office, Town Hall, 275 Broad Street, Windsor, CT.  Bids for furnishing of materials, equipment, and labor for KENNEDY ROAD REHABILITATION, NORTHBOUND LANES (State Project L164-003), WINDSOR, CT will be opened and read in the Rose Room of the Town Hall immediately following the deadline.


Bids must be executed in accordance with and subject to instructions contained in the Information for Bidders.


The KENNEDY ROAD REHABILITATION, NORTHBOUND LANES (State Project L164-003), WINDSOR, CT project includes the milling and paving of the northbound lanes of Kennedy Road, beginning north of the Interstate I-91 off-ramp and extending north towards the Windsor Locks townline.  The replacement of curbing and catch basin tops is also included as well as other miscellaneous incidentals to the project such as replacement of sidewalk ramps, replacement of loop detector wires, and restoration of disturbed areas. 


Contract Documents may be obtained from the Town of Windsor Engineering Department located at 275 Broad Street, Windsor, CT for a non-refundable fee in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00).  Partial sets will not be issued.


The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive defects in same if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town of Windsor.


This contract is subject to state set-aside and compliance requirements.

Draft Stormwater Management Plan Available for Review

The Town of Windsor invites you to participate in efforts to clean our community and protect our water resources.  The Engineering Department announces the availability of the Town’s Draft Stormwater Management Plan.  This Draft Plan was developed and is announced in accordance with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s (CTDEEP) General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems issued January 20, 2016. 


Copies of the Draft Plan are available for review in the Engineering Department office at 275 Broad Street, Windsor, CT, during normal business hours and digitally by clicking the following link: Draft Stormwater Management Plan
